The International Day of Peace is observed each year
on 21 September; it is a global call for ceasefire and non-violence.
Throughout the years, music and poetry have been created to spread the
message of peace, hope, and love. In honor of the International Day of
Peace (September 21, 2015), anointed award winning gospel artiste Akinyemi Samuel popularly known by his stage name ‘Psalm Ebube’
who sings with a passion to touch the heart of many and spread the
gospel of God which is love has released a song for the celebration of
the International Day of Peace for this year 2015. “Let
us come together as one for we all are one, We don’t need to get dirty,
For God made us clean. So come on let us make PEACE”
In a
world of constant complications sometimes the simplest solution can be
the most effective. The idea behind this song which is titled 80years is best described in the words of the international day of peace slogan which says; “Anything
Violence can do, Peace can do better. Do unto others what you would
like others to do unto you. Don’t Hate, Appreciate. For a better long

is to help people to focus on peace, not just world peace but peace at
home, at school or work, in the community and around the world. “It’s
