Be-In-Health Foundation To Host One-Day Free Health Outreach, Feb 27

Lagos, NG — Be-In-Health (BIHE) Foundation is set to host a 1-Day FREE Health Outreach for the Okokomaiko Community on Saturday, 27^th February, 2016 from 8am.

The venue of this community service outreach is RCCG(Abundant Life Chapel),7/9 Omolola Close Seriki Street, Cassidy Bus Stop, Okokomaiko, Lagos

On the eve of the outreach (Friday, February 26), there will be a Street Musical Show on Omolola Close junction with the aim of reaching out to people in Okokomaiko and to share God’s love with them.

This will feature Chiika 100%,John Godfrey, Omoba, Da’son, Aijay and other anointed music ministers.

Be-In-Health (BIHE) Foundation is a non-profit organization that offers FREE healthcare services and givesFREE drugs to persons living in less-privileged communities in Nigeria.

The inspiration for this cause is driven by the desire to contribute to reducing widespread deaths associated with top non-communicable diseases(NCDs) in Nigeria.Reports have shown that over 100million Nigerians currently live in destitutionand less than 10% of the 170 million Nigerian population have no health insurance. If our government have not beeneffective in its role in providing adequate healthcare for its citizens,we can do our little bit to help even if it is to save 5 people annually.

Reports have also shown that there is an increase in more people dying of non-communicable diseases like cancer and complications of diabetes and hypertension, hence this program also serves to create awareness and sensitize people on the importance of:

i.)making healthy lifestyle choices so they can possibly live longer and

ii.)going for regular health checks as this is not regular practice for most people.

For most people,they cannot afford to go to hospitals to be checked, for others,they do not know the implication of certain health conditions, and yet for some, they may not even have a clue that they have certain health conditions. Such people get sick and may not recover because treatment was not commenced early enough.

BIHE Foundation was founded in 2015 by Aijay Desmond,a gospel music minister and a Medical Laboratory Scientist by profession.
